Punjab Government Approves Legal Protection for STHRA Punjab Authority
The Punjab government has decided to grant legal protection to the STHRA Punjab Authority. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the establishment of the authority, and the bill will be presented in the provincial assembly. After approval, the Chief Minister will appoint the Director General.
The authority will have the power to procure machinery, equipment, and services. Additionally, meetings of the authority will be held every three months as a mandatory requirement.
