Описание: In this video I show that airways are actually great circle routes and the GNS430 flies the great circle by allowing for convergence constantly along the airway. If you watch you will see the course change 9 degrees over the 275NM length of this airway. By the way convergence is greatest when flying east/west (i.e. there is no convergence if you fly north/south) and it is greatest the further you are from the equator. In this case we are about 50N.
