2017 Acura MDX Emblem Restoration Using Wipe New Headlight Restore Kit (It worked!)

I rolled the dice on this to see if it would work the same as it does for headlights. And I am happy I did.

Just a quick video showing how I restored the emblem on a 2017 Acura MDX using Wipe New by Rust-oleum.
As you can see, the emblem looks much better now. I think I should've sanded/polished it a little more time in order to make it look crystal clear and maybe even a little smoother, but I am happy that it worked. Much cheaper than replacing it. I think if I were to do this again, I would probably tape off the chrome ring around it as well.
I have used Wipe New several times now on many different vehicles. It does work very well, but after a couple years the headlights will start to yellow again and/or start to get a little hazy, (not usually as bad as before applying the product) but you can apply the product again and it will make them look new again.
Rust-oleum WIPE NEW won an award at SEMA Global for Best New Product.
Spend a few minutes on each side of the sanding/polishing pad for best results, and make sure the headlight is completely dry before applying the product. Keep all moisture away for 24 hours, and don't touch it for 24 hours. Use in a well-ventilated area. Repeat the sanding pad on the green and then the light gray side if it's still cloudy or hazy after you rinse it.

You can mess up your headlights (or emblem) if you don't follow the instructions carefully, or if you lean on them or get them wet too soon after applying the product. If that happens... you can fix them by starting over with the product again after it completely dries.
