Mk7 GTI Engine and Transmission mount - Install and Review! (034 motorsport)

Описание: I recently bought and installed engine and transmission mounts on my Mk7 GTI. I filmed some of it and then provide a review of my experience!

I should have bought these much earlier in my mod list but oh well! In this video, I show how I installed the 034 Motorsport Engine and Transmission mounts on my Mk7 GTI. This isn't a DIY as I got way too excited and didnt film al the steps! However, you can get the gist of it and there are many good well filmed instructional videos on youtube that will guide you in changing your motor and transmission mounts on your Mk7 GTI.

Remember to always buy new bolts as the bolts used on the Mk7 GTI are stretch bolts and can only be used ONCE. You only need a ratchet, a jack, a torque wrench, and a socket set to get this done. Engine and transmission mounts are relatively cheap and provide a noticeable difference in your car's overall feel.

I also go over whether I would recommend getting engine and transmision mounts for your MK7 GTI. If you have followed my mod list,and you now have an is20 gti with a cobb and tune, downpipe, intercooler, muffler delete, dogbone insert, these mounts would be a great next mod! They really help put the power down and eliminate any wheel hop you would have (the dogbone can only do so much over 300hp). The car also feels must more immediate, the throttle response is faster and the car feels more planted in corners. Also probably because my engine mounts were donezo!
