Few years ago, when my brother Aakash took CA, we didn't know what it is. All of our neighbours said - Dimaag kharab ho gaya hai kya tera? Bete ne CA liya hai? CA me 100 me se sirf 1 hi paas hota hai. Bada aadmi banega. Bhot paise aayenge. Even I used to show my swag in front of friends ki mere bhai ne CA liya hai. Innocent us, got excited about his CA. But in few months he left CA due to his health issues. That was the day I decided to become CA on his behalf. I was in 9th standard. I was below than a below average student in school. No brains. Zero confidence. I couldn't spend more than 15 mins with my books. People used to laugh at me ki tere jaisi dumb ladki CA karegi when I told them I will take CA after 12th. I didn't even score well in 10th because of no interest in studies. On that day Aakash said,"rone se kuch nhi hota jo ho gaya usse jane do aage ka socho ki sab kaise change karna hai". My life changed like a magic. I got new birth that day. Vo kehte hai na you just have to give order to the Universe, things change like anything. My life totally changed after 10th. A jump of 15% in my 12th std. From 68% to 83%. Thanks to Ravi sir for making me such a confident person.
But in this process, I lost my brother😅. That loss was the biggest loss of my life. And after his death, my determination towards CA increased even more. Whenever I lost hope, I said myself chalu ho ja meri sherni, Bhai ka sapna pura karna hai.
I still remember that day when my 12th results were out, I told my Dad that I want to take CA. For the first time in life he said NO. Many of you don't know this but my dad is a Chai Wala. Yes, market me chal chal ke ek ek shop pe jaa jaa ke Chai bechte hai mere papa 10 Rs ki chai dene ke liye teen floor chadte hai😅
That day, he said Ab mujhse nhi hoga mere hath upar hai. I don't have money for your course. But he had no idea he has got the toughest daughter. I was shattered. I cried all night thinking that I cannot give up on my dream just because of lack of money. Next morning I decided I will arrange money on my own. I started visiting places to get monetary help. My nani became my hero during that struggle. Two incidents that changed my life
1. I got an address of doctor. I heard he helps students. I sat there for few hours in his clinic. He came. He asked me 20 questions and doubted everything I said then he gave me a cheque of very small amount. While going back to my home, sitting on stairs, holding that cheque in my hand I cried for two hours and said to myself no matter what my past is, my future will be completely different.
2. I got an address of one NGO. They agreed to help me but it took few weeks time to complete all the documentation work. Meanwhile, I took loan and paid at my classes because classes had already started. When I took my parents to take the cheque from that NGO, I told him to write a cheque on that person's name from where I took loan. He started insulting us. He said "Personal naam pe loan chahiye? Lutne aate hai tum jaise log NGOs ko. Koi CA VA nhi karna hai tumko bas paise udaane hai. He literally threw us out from his office. My parents were insulted for the first time because of me. I felt so humiliated and after coming out, I promised myself ki tu kya mujhe help karega ek din mai tujhe aake donation dungi dekh lena.
Then I somehow arranged money and this is how my CPT started. I was just a little girl not ready to see all this. I am so fucking proud of my younger self for never giving up.
Coming to this final attempt, after giving two exams, I was badly sick. Revision video of one hour took 3 hours to complete. Wen we revise for whole day and night, I couldn't revise even for few hours. I just couldn't see the words of exam. It was that bad. But somehow I pushed myself just to sit till 5 pm. After coming from my last exam, I was sure I had to reappear because my exams were really bad. But CA Harsha it is. I want to conclude that Hard work always pays off. No matter how many problems you face, you should Never Give Up. Because my dad is a Chai wala, We are a family of five but sixth member - problem was always there. I used to promise myself that ek din sab kuch badal ke rakh dungi yr mai. Chai wale ka tag hatake CA ke papa ka tag dungi. And here it is. Life has always been tough on me. But I kept fighting. My parents have seen ALOT, now they deserve happiness. I have waited for fucking 6 years to see these tears of happiness in their eyes and here it is.
Ghar chota tha isliye I have studied at libraries, stations, roads, gardens, trains and I don't remember where else. Things are very much possible if you don't give up. No matter how many times life tried to tear me into pieces but I always came back stronger. Please don't give up guys. Whatever you are doing, just keep going because your efforts will never be wasted. Thanks to my family and friends for always supporting me. Nothing was possible without your support. #Biggestday
