This tragic case is a chilling reminder of the dangers of domestic violence and the devastating impact on victims’ families. Venus’ daughters, who grew up without their mother, found solace with their grandmother, who now raises them in a home filled with love. To honor Venus' legacy, her family created The Venus Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting domestic violence survivors and helping families find missing loved ones. Doug Stewart may have tried to erase Venus, but her name and story live on, warning others and providing hope for those still searching for justice.
