Ericsson Nederland developed a new telephone under the internal name Ramses in the years preceding its introduction by the Staatsbedrijf der Posterijen, Telegrafie en Telefonie (PTT) as the 'Monza' in 1990.
This Monza 10 has a user accessible switch to select pulse or tone signalling, and of course ten memories; a basic version was available with only a recall button and also a Deluxe with an LCD display.
Sold in some markets as a 1980s iteration of the Dialog, the Monza is a convertible telephone. An easily removable baseplate can be used as a wall mount or turned to support the set on a desk.
The electronic ringer has user adjustments for volume and pitch.
