Last week we talked about how trials come against us from the outside, but today we’re talking about how our own desires wage war against our faith from within.
James makes it clear for us. Desire leads to sin, and sin leads to death. And that desire does not come from God, because God does not tempt us, nor can He be tempted with sin.
But while sin gives birth to death, God by the power of His grace gives birth to life within us.
