Описание: Tamil Nadu and Puducherry continue to face heavy rains and waterlogging as a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal intensifies.

The IMD has warned that this system may strengthen into Cyclone ‘Senyar’ around November 26, marking the second Bay of Bengal cyclone this season after Cyclone Montha.

Several districts including Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, and Tiruvarur are severely affected. Authorities have deployed SDRF teams and issued orange and yellow alerts, advising residents to avoid unnecessary travel.
