Описание: For the first time, senior Liberals speak out about the “WWIII” factional infighting that may have cost the party the election.

In a vicious blame game, Liberals accuse each other’s factions of ‘thuggish behaviour’ and being ‘a cancer that’s infected the party’; disputes that tainted the preselection of candidates in a dozen NSW seats just weeks before the election.

The feud directly implicated former prime minister Scott Morrison and went all the way to the High Court. It’s been blamed for contributing to the devastating election loss.

Four Corners exposes the deep divisions within the Liberal Party, and extraordinary allegations about back-room party operatives and their relationships with wealthy business interests.
