The Most Improved Player Award, it signifies ALOT in your NBA Career. How far you came as a player, the improvements you made to your game from the year before, and 9/10 at least in the current day NBA it signifies your certification into Stardom or as a top player in some capacity whether its on your own team, position, or the NBA.
