Arbaeen marks the completion of 40 days of mourning after the tragedy of Karbala, where Imam Hussain (A.S), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), along with his family and companions, sacrificed everything to protect Islam and humanity.
In Kashmir, Zadibal (Srinagar) is one of the oldest and most important centers of Azadari. On this sacred day, thousands of momineen gather to participate in Majlis, Matam, Nauha Khwani, and Juloos in remembrance of the martyrs of Karbala.
