Hey! We’re Sunshine 2.0! Class, we’re going to be giving you guys a workshop. What workshop is that? W’ere gonna be teaching you a dance workshop. In this workshop we will teach you many things like rhythm, count, and developing your own choreography. This will happen at VOCA’s Camp. When? This Summer, July 2023! See you there!

DJ Supa Lee, Music Mixing
What’s up! My name is Lee Lyken. My nickname is DJ Supa Lee. This summer for VOCA’s camp, I’m gonna teach you how to be a DJ. I will teach you how to understand the flows and rhythm of music, and how to blend music using equipment. I look forward to seeing all of you this summer!

Hello everyone! My name is Smiles Russell. (Signing name, Smiles). I am a Gallaudet student with a major in Art and Media Design and my main focus is Photography. This summer, I will be teaching photography, filmmaking, editing and many related topics. I am looking forward to meeting you all!

Karry, Visual Arts
Hi, I'm the visual arts teacher. My name is Karry Takeuchi. My art work focuses on ASL manga. Manga, you know from Japan in comic books and our American Sign Language intertwined. This is a great skill to have! I will teach you how to do this as you use your creativity and imagination for two weeks! I'm looking forward to it! Please bring your ipad or laptop and we will add a software for this class. I'm looking forward to it, bye!

Hello, welcome to VOCA Summer Camp 2023. I’m Stella Antonio (sign name flower blooming on center chest). I’m your theater teacher. This is my 2nd year! You will learn many things such as improvisation in short improv and spontaneous thinking through games, acting, and character work from birth to old age, to animals depending on the script where we will learn creative story meaning, asl translations.
