Описание: In February of 2002, MTH released their Premier model of the 2-8-8-8-2 Erie Triplex. The prototype was an experimental locomotive with one set of cylinders that used high pressure steam, and two (!) sets of cylinders that reused the low pressure steam exhausted from the first set of cylinders, making it a true Mallet (compound articulated) locomotive. This model is absolutely exquisite, as you can see in the following video, shot in True HD 1080p at 24 fps native progressive.
