Can you believe disney didn't make them canon when they have this level of chemistry? These two have the best hero x villain/anti-hero dynamic that I'm a total sucker for. I contemplated adding text to the video but it ended up distracting from the story so I took it out.

Story: Upon meeting the witch, Xian Lang, she senses Mulan is hiding not only her true identity but a part of herself she is afraid to accept - her interest in women who are different, like she is. The more they meet, the more Mulan fights herself about who she is and how she feels. Mulan eventually confesses that Xian was right, and she helped her to accept the truth but she will continue to fight for the army. When Xian sacrifices herself to save Mulan, Mulan begins to understand that the complex feelings she had for her was love. Even in death, Mulan remains true to Xian and knows that the depth of her love for her will live on.
