Multipurpose and modular launching system (MPLS) "ready to fire"

On November 5, at our Angoulême-Ruelle site, our CEO Pierre Éric Pommellet, validated the "ready to fire" capability of the multipurpose and modular launching system (MPLS) demonstrator.

This new-generation weapon system will undergo its land trials in January for qualification, to later, from a Marine nationale vessel, engage fixed and mobile targets.

The concept was unveiled for the first time in 2023 at our Naval Innovation Day and highlighted in November 2024 during the Euronaval exhibition.
The acceleration of R&D to integrate it as quickly as possible reflects Naval Group’s commitment to responding to the French Navy’s urgent operational needs.
