I put a new Renault 5 E-Tech equipped with a 52 kWh (NCM) battery through a range test on mixed terrain. No stops, European highway limits up to 130 km/h. Surprisingly, this hot hatch EV can complete a 300 km trip on a single charge! The average power consumption is between 15 and 21 kW/100 km through mixed terrain. Meaning on a flat terrain, you can expect an even greater range up to 350 km!

The Renault 5 is efficient and charges fast. Even when arriving with less than half a battery, R5 was pulling 95 kW on a fast DC charger. Adding ~40% in 15 min.

Ideally, you want to arrive with a low state of charge at a charging station to get peak power.

The charging curve is strong on both 50 and 100 kW DC chargers. Charging to 100% on a 50 DC charger, it was still pulling 11 kWh at 98% to the very end. Charging up from 15% to 100% in 1:15 min.
Which is great if you don't have access to fast 100 kW DC chargers, where you should charge up in ~30 min.
