Описание: Recently we rescued eight donkeys from the heartbreaking conditions in Mijas Pueblo. Each one arrived suffering—not just physically but emotionally too. 💔

Their hooves were severely neglected... Some were in intense pain, with laminitis and other serious issues. They needed urgent dental care, some had rotting or infected teeth that had to be removed.

But the worst wounds... aren’t the visible ones. These donkeys flinch at any sudden movement — clearly expecting pain.
The fear in their eyes... tells us how much they have endured. 🥺🥺🥺

Their recovery will be long but we are already seeing signs of hope. They are beginning to trust us and allowing us to treat their wounds.

But this path is slow... and expensive.
Basic care costs between €1,500 and €2,000 per donkey. Transport, X-rays, hoof care, dental work, vaccinations, deworming and castration.

We have reached our full capacity but we couldn’t turn our backs on them.
