Raja Narendralal Khan Women’s College (Autonomous), Midnapore, West Bengal, has released the official notification for PhD admission for the academic session 2023-24 (application process in 2025-26). Online applications are invited for PhD programmes in Natural and Applied Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences under Research Centres affiliated to Vidyasagar University. The application window is open from December 30, 2025, to January 28, 2026 (11:59:59 PM). Interviews are scheduled for the third week of February 2026.

Eligibility: Candidates must have a Master’s degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Differently Abled) from a UGC-recognized university. Those with a 4-year bachelor’s degree (Hons with Research) need 75% marks (70% for reserved categories). Final-year students may apply if they meet criteria at admission time. Candidates with UGC-NET, GATE, SET, CEED, M.Tech, or equivalent are exempt from written tests.

Application Process: Apply online via the college portal (mlkwc.ac.in). Application fee is ₹500 (non-refundable), payable online. No offline submissions are accepted.
