This tennis balls controversy is in my opinion unnecessary. Both men and women should play with same ball - the best ball. And that's for sure the Extra Duty version of US Open tennis balls. The Regular Duty version is for clay and soft surfaces, it's lighter, faster but less controllable. Both men and women deserve the best ball control. Speed of the game has evolved on both sides and women can play almost as fast as men, sometimes even faster. Let's focus on the important things, because this is ridiculous.
