Sinai Classic Red sea liveaboard safari on Snefro Pearl: Temple, Jackfish Alley, Beacon Rock Day 1&2

We finish off our last day in Dahab with snorkeling and relaxing until our shuttle collects us at 3pm, then head off to the marina in Sharm el-Sheikh. Because boats may not sail at night, we spend the first evening in the marina, before heading out for our first three dives of the trip. We did the Sinai classic route with the King Snefro fleet on the Snefro Pearl.

Our dives on the first day were Temple, Jackfish Alley and Beacon rock Coral Garden

We did return to shore for 2 hours with a fellow diver suffering severe tooth ache during a dive, this was due to a filling coming undone. Following medication the issue didn't arise again.

The boat has four levels. The lowest level has cabins, above being the living room, kitchen and dive deck. Above the dive deck are more cabins as well as a relaxation area. The top deck is a sun deck. Both the dive deck and relaxation deck has a "full" bathroom facility outside (enclosed).

BATHROOM TIPS:
The bathrooms are limited with a basin, toilet, shower head and bidet in a 1.5m x 0.5m room. This means showering wets everything. My room mate and I circumvented this problem by using the showers on the outer decks at night or after our last dive, this keeps the cabin bathroom dry and only for brushing teeth and using the toilet.

Speaking of the toilet, NO toilet paper may be FLUSHED. Best get used to using a bidet, dabbing dry with paper and throwing it in the bin to avoid bad smells. Flushing the paper can clog the sewerage system of the boat.

The cabins are cleaned and made up during each dive and they also empty the toilet paper bin during this time.
