Types of Nutrition – Short Note
Nutrition is the process by which organisms obtain and use food for energy, growth, and repair. There are two main types of nutrition: autotrophic and heterotrophic. In autotrophic nutrition, green plants prepare their own food by photosynthesis using sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water. In heterotrophic nutrition, organisms depend on others for food. It includes holozoic (humans), saprophytic (fungi), and parasitic (tapeworm) nutrition.
