Education secretary defends increase in university tuition fees

Описание: Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson discusses the increase in university tuition fees for the first time in eight years with Sky's Sophy Ridge.

Tuition fees will rise to £9,525 from April 2025, an increase of £285 per academic year.
Maintenance loans will increase in line with inflation, an increase of £414 per year in 2025/26.
