"runnersmile" outta nowhere!
4/3 marks our bandiversary! It's the day on which we uploaded our first four songs: "She Sells," "Seashells," "By The Sea," "Shore." Get it? It's like... A Lesson In Articulation... or something. ;)
Here's our brand new video for the acoustic version of "runnersmile!" If you're familiar with the original "full band" version, you know that there are several interweaving melodies throughout the song. Part of the challenge was to re-arrange, re-work, and re-adjust all of that for just one instrument while trying to keep the original sound and vibe intact.
For the video, we wanted to film and edit it to look similar to the original video for "runnersmile," but we threw in some other visual elements to keep things interesting. I've always thought that the original "runnersmile" video would've been eight-hundred-eighty-eight times cooler if we wore our masks for that video.
