Описание: This piobaireachd commemorates the events of 13 February 1692 when 36 MacDonald clanspeople were slaughtered in Glencoe by Government troops led by Captain Campbell of Glenlyon. The troops had been billeted with the clanspeople for 10 days beforehand. The massacre had been ordered by the government to show the possible consequences of those of Jacobite disposition failing to swear allegiance to the King. The composer of the piobaireachd is unknown. It is played by Jack Taylor.
