AMD's RDNA 3 GPUs will be in a very interesting position against Nvidia's RTX 40 series (LOVELACE) thanks to the use of monolithic dies Nvidia is forced to use.

My latest exclusive information indicates thatt RX 7000 series Radeon cards will not only be faster than Nvidia's RTX 40 series in traditional raster performance but also more power efficient to boot. To add even further to Nvidia's concerns, the RTX 40 series and RDNA 3 series of GPUs will likely have very similar ray tracing performance.

The good news for Nvidia though is that DLSS is still likely going to be very important and ingrained into games by this point, and Nvidia's ecosystem shall continue to be highly important.

I'll be put out another video soon focused on Lovelace and also Nvidia's HOPPER based Geforce RTX 50 cards.

RDNA 4 too is going to change things up significantly, with major improvements in features over RDNA 3, and RDNA 4 is perhaps an even more important card in this respect for AMD.

While RDNA 3 allows AMD to potentially take the performance and PPW crown, RDNA 4 will also improve software and feature sets a lot, and this is a high priority for AMD going forward.
