DELTA APC CONGRESS: DAFINONE DECLARES SAPELE UNITED FOR 2027

Speaking shortly after the exercise, the lawmaker describes the congress as orderly, celebratory and free of rancor, marking the conclusion of an inclusive grassroots process that begins at the ward level.
According to him, the party adopts a unit-by-unit approach during the ward congresses to ensure fair representation in the local government executive council, allowing each unit to present its strongest political figure regardless of previous party affiliation.
The senator says the LGA congress signals the end of internal power-sharing arrangements and the beginning of a unified front in Sapele.
Dafinone expresses confidence that the unity achieved in Sapele will be replicated across the 25 local government areas of Delta State as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.
He adds that the newly constituted executive is positioned to deliver victories for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other APC candidates.
Dafinone maintains that the celebratory mood at the congress reflects renewed confidence within the party and readiness for the tasks ahead.
