1. BEGIN developing your mindfulness skills by observing a single object do a Mental Body Scan. Try to relax your body, let your brain become like a small peaceful lake. no waves or crash. and strengthen your mind-body connection.

2. INTERNAL vs EXTERNAL: Is your orientation toward internal or external events? Create balance then Describe Your Emotions. Delve into the emotions you experience and the associated actions and thoughts.

4. SEPERATION: detach how you feel from what you think. Example, I feel upset because of a person’s post as oppose to I AM upset.
5. BREATHING: Set your timer for 10 minutes. Relax, and start counting your breaths from 1 to 5. Count on the exhale. One... two... three... four... five. One... two... three... four... five. Diaphramatic Breathing.
6. MINDFULNESS: this state lies between the EMOTIONAL mind (decision making & judging based entirely on our emotions) & the LOGICAL mind (thoughts, decisions & judgments based entirely on facts and rational thinking).
