This video features a beautiful, spongy, zesty lemon cake which has two layers. The filling between the layers is lemon curd which homemade (you can find the link to the recipe of 4 Ingredient lemon curd below).
You can also use the lemon buttercream frosting as a filling.
You can actually enjoy your lemon cake just like that without any layering or filling. It will taste just as good!!
I have also shown a very simple technique to get flat cake layers and not get a dome on your cake after baking. Make sure to check it out at 2:36!!
