Sower’s parable: A seed has all the nutrients in it to become a plant, then why doesn’t it? If we take the coconut for an example, some may use it for a curry, so though the coconut seed had the power to become a coconut plant, b’cos of it’s location or the people it hangs around with, it may never become a fruitful seed and turn into a plant.
Jesus asks today why WORD is not fruitful in your lives? It is the place you give the WORD in your life. Busy path is when no time to ponder always on a rat race. Rocky ground is like an old harboured grudge/anger so no depth in WORD, Jesus has to blast that rock. Among weed is like, though seed grew weeds took over like Samason’s Dilaila or Herod’s Herodias, you have to uproot those addictions. Good soil is a fertile land, turned topsy turvy, dirt is mixed, your brokenness is the fertility where WORD penetrates you, and you can yield 30%, 60% or even 100%.
