I'm Katie Ford, a singer-songwriter based in Handa City, on the Chita Peninsula. I'm enjoying the chance to report on so many interesting places around the Chita Peninsula. Especially, I want visitors from abroad to see what great attractions are on offer in our area. Please come to Chita Peninsula when you come to Japan.
Niimi Nankichi is a famous children's author from Handa City. His most famous story is the tragic fairy tale about the fox, Gongitsune. Almost all Japanese children know this story (I also love it). At Gongen Mountain, in Agui, there is a park where the spirit of Gongitsune is said to live on.
