I stopped fighting it somewhere between the second verse and the moment shadows started saying my name out loud.
This is what surrender sounds like when it's wrapped in choral voices and endless night. Not the violent kind of falling - the other one. The slow dissolve. When time stops being linear and starts being velvet rain on your skin. When you realize there's no escape and you're not looking for one anymore.
I built this from whispers and fragile light. From winds that carry pain so silent you only feel it in your chest hours later. The kind of music that pulls you under - not to drown you, but because sometimes being alone down there is exactly what you need.
