Alabama Tornado 2019: drone video shows utter devastation

Описание: TWO deadly tornadoes have ripped through eastern Alabama killing at least 23 people including a six-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl.

Dozens of emergency workers were called in to assist in Lee County after the first large twister struck on Sunday afternoon with winds topping 165mph.

At least one more tornado is said to have later carved through the area - on the border with neighbouring Georgia.

Among the dead was six-year-old Armando Hernandez, known as AJ, who became separated from his mother in Beauregard when the tornado struck.

Relative Tina Melton wrote on Facebook: "Little AJ didn't make it. He was found but he didn't survive... He was always eager to give hugs and loved his family.

"They are headed to the children's hospital with his brother. They also lost their home in the tornado with all belongings. Fly high AJ. You have your wings!"

Also killed was an eight-year-old girl, according to family members who spoke to local WSFA12 news...
