Описание: Cote d’Opale or Opal Coast is a 120-km sea coastline situated in the north of France. Stretching from Dunkerque (near the Belgian border) to Mers-les-Bains (at the mouth of the Bresle river), the Opal Coast boasts a very diverse landscape: from sand and pebble beaches to white chalk cliffs passing through dunes, marshes and river estuaries.The Opal Coast is also home to the Site des Deux-Caps: two famous capes Cap Gris-Nez, the closest point to England in France, and Cap Blanc-Nez, where you can behold the cliffs of Dover (Douvres) in England. Throughout all the coast, you can admire the blue and green seawater which gives its name to this beautiful area close to Calais.
