Описание: Light bluish-purple head, rose-red face, orange-red beak, green body, green tail with yellow edges, two blue long tail feathers with earthy yellow tips, such a beautiful small parakeet!
The ones we encountered were flying among several large trees in the forest, nibbling on the bark.
It is a CITES Appendix II protected species and is rated as Near Threatened (NT) by the IUCN.
