Here is my overview of the 1790's Hinged Tobacco in brass, by Tedd Cash.
I bought this kit off viceroybooks (ebay retailer) 99.8% positive feedback score and I recommend him, and I buy a fair bit of gear off him.
I particularly like his magnifying glasses and flint, and now his tinder boxes and Hudson bay tobacco tins.

Wile the box is $58 by the time you factor in postage you end up paying $67(like I did), IMHO this is not unreasonable for the quality of the item you receive.
Measures 10cm long, 5cm wide, 1.7cm high
These are specifically designed to fit the "C" type striker

"C" type striker (these do come with a nice flat piece of flint, though you may have to buy another piece or two to find a piece that fits into the tin properly)

I added two pieces of denim to stop the striker and flint from rattling.
