Cher’s first album was recorded at the Gold Star studio in Los Angeles and was released in October, 1965. It reached #16 on the US album chart. The title track was a successful 45 for Cher, making it to #15 in the US and #9 in the UK.
“Girl Don’t Come” was one of many of Sandie Shaw’s UK hits penned by Chris Andrews, reaching #4 in 1964.
