Between moments of shock and excitement, life goes on as usual here at Plan it Portugal: two weeks ago we planted garlic and onions, and they’re already sprouting strong in the vegetable beds. Inside, we’ve been tiling the main room and making real progress in the utility area, slowly transforming this old granite farmhouse into a cosy home. There’s even time to test our homemade quince jam (delicious!) — all while dodging yet another round of Portuguese autumn rain.
