This is an excerpt demo of the Kid-Sized Cajon. One of two Cajons I designed and built for The Travelling Instrument Project.
Played by Fabian Hevia.
Each Cajon has four tuned drum faces, one built into each side, from low to high. Here they are played individually and in pairs.
This is one of seven multi-faced percussion instruments that I was commissioned to design and build by the Mt Barker District Council.
