I found a Project Sailboat with No Keel ! ~ Let’s try to make one.

Описание: The first job on our new build yacht project and were doing it with an iPhone 15 Pro!

The plan is to use the phone to scan a very unique keel for this aluminium lift keel yacht!

With only two other boats like ours in the world, we tracked one down to Scotland and had 1hr to scan her keel in order to make our own mould. The pressure was on as this was a one hit wonder…

We share our findings using 3D scanning app Polycam, show the differences we found between LiDAR and Photogrammetry along with a helpful tip we got from the pros.
