Great exhibit! Set in a "Brown Water Navy" support base and a U.S. Marine Corps artillery fire base during the Tet Offensive and the Battle of Khe Sanh in 1968. You can find fire control bunkers, helicopters, patrol boat, observation tower, tanks, artillery.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, at the mouth of the Cooper River on the Charleston Harbor, across from Charleston.
The exhibit features more than a dozen components that simulate life during wartime:

M35A2 – 2 ½ Ton Truck "Deuce and a half"
Fire Control Bunker
Mess Hall
105 Howitzer gun
Willys M725 Ambulance
3 Vietnam-era Helicopters
CH-46 Sea Knight
UH-1M Huey
UH-34 Sea Horse
MK1 River Patrol Boat (PBR) dedicated to Medal of Honor recipient James Elliot Williams (see Medal of Honor Museum)
Climb to the top of the observation tower and hear the sounds of jets and helicopters flying overhead
The Vietnam Experience Exhibit also serves as a place for the two million Vietnam veterans in the United States to reflect and reconnect with their experiences during their years of service.
