Today I’m taking a look at Harboth’s Orc Archers, one of the classic Citadel Regiments of Renown from the late 1980s.
This boxed set features a named Orc boss, his champion, and a characterful group of archer troopers sculpted in the classic Oldhammer style by Kev Adams. These regiments were designed to be more than just generic units — they brought personality, narrative, and visual identity to Warhammer armies.
In this video I talk a bit about the history of the regiment, the sculpting style, and how I plan to use them in Oldhammer Warhammer games as well as dungeon-based games as named elite patrols or sub-boss encounters.
Proper late-80s Citadel design — full of character and exactly the sort of models I enjoy collecting and actually using on the tabletop.
