Always prompt for save TREC location in Camtasia

Описание: By default, Camtasia saves all your TREC (recording files) in a single location. And what's worse, each file has a timestamp, nothing more to indicate which project it belongs to. The recordings folder can become very disorganized, very fast! This is also the case in Camtasia 2022.

In this video, I show you a quick tip to change Camtasia's behaviour to always ask where to save the TREC files, no matter when you record them. After you change the option in this video, Camtasia will always ask where to save and what filename you want to give your recording files.

This will help you keep your recording files in the same location as your project and never run into the issue of missing media files when you open the project later, or if you delete or move the TREC files by mistake.

The Camtasia recorder has been changed in Camtasia 2021, and in Camtasia 2022, you don't have the option to use the Legacy recorder, because it has been removed. This video is an update for Camtasia 2021 and further versions.
