Imagine you are inside your car at night with a gentle rain tapping on the roof. The light rumble of the motor puts you into a state of awoken relaxation. Your mind is free to wander to a place of bliss. Let it go there.
The most effective moments of relaxation I experienced were when I was sitting at the back of the car with my parents driving through the countryside. The muffled sounds of the motor and the music at a low volume created this sort of comfy ambience. I could really enter a state of deep sleep. The conversations they had between them were a distant and soft ASMR. Though I didn’t know what that was at the time. Hopefully this communicates the same feeling I had when I was little.
