APCC / Holding Hands With Other Abilities

Описание: Holding Hands With Other Abilities volunteer project hosted 4 european volunteers from August 2021 - February 2022 at the APCC - Associação de Paralisia Cerebral de Coimbra (Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra), in Portugal: Alice Lambert-Quénaon (France), Antónia Tiepoldt (Austria), Luise Göttlich (Germany), and Roberta De Giorgio (Italy).

The volunteers, who themselves came from areas of geographic and economic challenges, brought their talents and ideas to create intercultural activities for clients with cerebral palsy and various other disabilities, with the goal of social inclusion and improved quality of life. From cooking to hippotherapy, from organic farming to theater, the volunteers dedicated their hands to work and their hearts to inclusion.

By developing competencies like cultural awareness and entrepreneurship, the volunteers not only contributed to the project, but also invested in their own future.

O projeto de voluntariado Holding Hands With Other Abilities acolheu 4 voluntárias europeias de agosto de 2021 a fevereiro de 2022 na APCC - Associação de Paralisia Cerebral de Coimbra, em Portugal: Alice Lambert-Quénaon (França), Antónia Tiepoldt (Áustria) , Luise Göttlich (Alemanha) e Roberta De Giorgio (Itália).

As voluntárias, que vieram de áreas com desafios geográficos e económicos, trouxeram os seus talentos e ideias para criar atividades interculturais para utentes com paralisia cerebral e diversas outras deficiências, com o objetivo da inclusão social e melhoria da qualidade de vida. Da culinária à hipoterapia, da agricultura biológica ao teatro, deitaram as mãos ao trabalho e os corações à inclusão.

Ao desenvolver competências como a consciência cultural e o empreendedorismo, as voluntárias não apenas contribuíram para o projeto, mas também investiram no seu próprio futuro.
