The yarn used in this tutorial is scraps of Drops Merino Extra Fine and Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino with a 3.5mm hook. You can use any yarn and hook for this pattern.

Written Pattern (US Terms)
Ch a multiple of 4+1
Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, *ch1, sk1, dc in next 3st*; repeat across, dc in last ch.
Row 2: ch3, dc in same st, *ch1, sk3, (dc, SPdc in skipped foundation ch, dc) in next sp*; repeat across, sk1, dc in last st.
Row 3: ch3, dc in same st, *ch1, sk3, (dc, SPdc in st below next ch, dc) in next sp*; repeat across, sk1, dc in last st.
Repeat Row 3 until desired size.
Final Row: ch1, sc in same st, *sc in next 3st, SPsc in st below next ch*; repeat across, sc in next 2st.
