"Gilbert Goonies" Blitz Attack Teen and Brag About It on Snapchat | Preston Lord

Описание: 16-year-old Preston Lord attended a Halloween party with his friends in Queen Creek, Arizona on October 28th, 2023, where he was beaten by a group of young men, some known as being part of the 'Gilbert Goons', allegedly over a necklace that was stolen from one of Preston's friends. Preston died in the hospital on October 30th, 2023. The Gilbert Goons are described as a 'gang of 20 or more mostly white, upper-middle-class teenagers from multiple southeast Valley high schools.'

There have been seven arrests made in this case: Suspects Talan Renner (17), Talyn Vigil (17), William Owen Hines (18), Dominic Turner (20), Taylor Sherman (19), Treston Billey (18) and Jacob Meisner (17) have all been charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping, with Turner and Meisner being additionally charged with aggravated robbery. This week, the Queen Creek Police Department released a 1162-page police report detailing the evidence investigators gathered in the months leading up to the arrests, which includes text messages sent between the suspects, where some even bragged about the murder.
