Essegi 15 kg bags Bagging machine - Vertical - Sachet machine

Описание: The ESSEGI brand bagging machine operated in our workshops for packaging wood pellets in 15 kg bags until the end of May 2020, when we replaced it with a line incorporating robotic palletization.

The feeding of the product is gravitational, the whole dosing by weighing is included. A buffer silo must be provided upstream of the dosing valve.

The plastic feeding is done by flat film (not tubular).

The length of the bag is adjustable either by photocell (for printed films with centering spot) or by running time for neutral films (plain or transparent).

The horizontal sealing jaw is operated hydraulically, the other movements are pneumatic for dosing and sealing, and electric for pulling the film.

The downstream discharge is done by motorized roller tables which are supplied but whose automatism is not included.

The bagging machine itself was retrofitted less than 10 years ago.


We estimate the bagging throughput at 240 bags per hour in continuous operation with the current settings (cycle time of 15 sec).

The sealing process could be further optimized to increase throughput by 10-20%. However, operating at 240 bags per hour allows for good process reliability, which was sufficient for us. In fact, our production rate is around 150 bags per hour and we palletized manually downstream, which limits our packaging capacity to only a hundred bags. The rest is packed in big bags.



We are replacing this equipment with a bagging + palletizing line to keep up with the increase in production capacity of our plant and especially to increase our hourly packaging capacity in pallets.

We are currently finishing our film stock and will dismantle it during this week. If necessary, we have the necessary means to load it on a tray.
