In this video, I attempt to save the absolute "Holy Grail" of JDM cars: the 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi. Built to celebrate Subaru's WRC championships, only 400 of these widebody coupes were ever sold in Japan. Found in a destroyed state, this $300,000 unicorn requires the most careful restoration of my career. Watch the satisfying ASMR process as I repair the hand-stamped wide fenders, rebuild the rare EJ22G 2.2L Boxer engine, and bring this rally legend back to the gravel.

🔧 The Process:

Teardown: Stripping the interior and removing the legendary drivetrain.

Bodywork: Repairing the unique, factory-wide steel fenders (irreplaceable parts).

Engine: Rebuilding the EJ22G 2.2L Master-Built Boxer Engine.

Suspension: Restoring the Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs.

Paint: Applying the iconic Sonic Blue Mica (74F).

Details: Refinishing the 17-inch Gold BBS wheels and adjustable rear wing.
