BREAKING: ICE shooting in North Minneapolis

We have arrived on the scene of an apparent ICE-involved shooting in North Minneapolis. Reports are preliminary, but here’s what we know so far.
At approximately 7:35 p.m. reports started coming in to the Minnesota Immigration Rights Action Committee that there was a shooting involving federal agents. The reports claimed multiple victims and we’re now hearing two individuals were shot. We don’t have the condition of the victim or victims, who were shot in the 600 block of 24th Avenue North, which is about two blocks south of Farview Park.
A statement was issued from the Minneapolis Police confirming it too was alerted to a shooting possibly involving federal agents and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s office is reporting that one person was shot in the leg and there was some sort of forced entry into a residence in the area.
According to sources, ICE agents remain in the neighborhood and vulnerable individuals are being encouraged to remain clear of the area. Livestream provided by BLCK Press, powered by SPEAK MPLS.
